Queen Silveen is a forest faery. Her time is during the birth of the Industrial Revolution.

Ephemeral and translucent, she stands still in the trees and watches her only home disappear into no more than a beautiful memory.

Her heart is broken.

She sings, sheltered in the few remaining trees,
their dark blue light casting shadows as tears
and wrap around her.

Her songs are made of works of the Romantic poets
whom she serves as a muse

Together they dream of a world that once was; rich
and undefiled. They are lost to their dreams and wanderings, seeking the peace and wholeness, the life of the forest as it lives on in their words and their songs.
