Voices
in a Storm -
The Last Lament of Queen Silveen
In the heart of a poet,
a dream is a fire. The advent of the Industrial Revolution was
the backdrop for a gathering of poets and dreamers. These loved
the life of nature as she flowed through rivers and trees, sparkled
in the delicate first light of dawn, and spun the luminous moon
against the thick black velvet that is night.
This album was born out
of an appreciation for the beauty and inspiration of the poets
of the Romantic era. William Blake, Percy Bysshe Shelley and
Edgar Allen Poe all give lyric to these songs. The eloquence
of their expression is the Beauty and Truth that guided the
music's creation. Over two years in the making, these recordings
contain performances of great musicians heralding from India,
Jerusalem, Europe and the U.S.
